Tell them in your statement of work that they will review in SimpleUAT, not only in email. They are a recipient. They do not edit your test cases. They open the package you sent.

Where they look

  • UAT Inbox (also called Receiving UAT): new packages from you
  • Findings: bugs you filed; they may comment
  • Providers: testers they approved (that is you)
  • Archive: older packages
  • Applications / Portfolio: only if they use the product side of SimpleUAT
  • Reports their plan allows them to download
There is no public status page for SimpleUAT. Whether they are done lives on the package.

What they can do

After they open the package, they usually choose one of these:
  • Accept: the round is good enough to close.
  • Accept with known issues: they accept, but bugs remain. You already logged those findings.
  • Not ready: this is not a complete UAT yet.
  • Request retest: they want you to test again. That shows up in your Retest requests queue.
The package they review is a frozen snapshot. Later runs do not rewrite what they already opened. Snapshots.
