# Install a pack into a project

> Use This Pack or Install into project, uncheck suites and tests you don't need, then treat the copies as normal tests.

    Pick a pack. Read the short description. Don't install all 15.

  <Step title="Use This Pack / Install into project">
    Choose the target project (the job).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select all, then uncheck">
    Core suites first. Optional PayPal / deep links / second browser: uncheck if Acme doesn't have them. You can still delete after install.

  <Step title="Skip existing vs Create anyway">
    **Skip existing** if you already imported similar names. **Create anyway** duplicates. Freelancers almost always want skip.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit like it's yours">
    Because it is. Preconditions get this client's URL and accounts. The pack stays in the catalog; the project copies diverge on purpose. You don't maintain a master spreadsheet and a per-client copy by hand.

<Warning>
  The catalog will not compute a trustworthy **update available** flag. Do not wait for "apply pack v2" on the project. Change the project tests, or install again carefully.
